The Power of Conscious Language and Behaviour
“Active allyship needs you to be courageous and take on responsibilities to challenge the way things have “always” been done”; to look beyond the cookie cutter; and to push the pendulum the other way.” Dr. Poornima Luthra
In this webinar, we will discuss the importance of courageous responsibilities in being an active ally and how inclusive communication can foster a sense of belonging in the workplace and empower individuals to speak up and take action in the face of injustice and inequality.
We will also discuss the role of inclusive communication in creating a culture of courage and responsibility, and how it can contribute to creating a more just and equitable workplace.
We will talk about examples and ways you can be more inclusive towards others, being aware of your own biases, conversations to avoid and tough issues to address in the workplace.
The webcast will be led by Dr. Poornima Luthra, Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School and Jenifer Clausell Tormos.
Courageous responsibilities refers to the idea that individuals have a moral and ethical duty to act courageously and take responsibility for their actions, even when faced with difficult or challenging circumstances.
